Metsa Noma™ is based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands (KvK 27323112, VAT NL001961596B97). We are responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, write to info@metsanoma.com.
When you visit this website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no contact form. It only remembers your language choice, on your own device. You can clear that in your browser at any time. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the website.
Links to the Metsa Noma Tribe app (Mighty Networks), Instagram and Facebook take you to other services. Their own privacy statements apply there.
When you join a ceremony, retreat or master plant dieta
To take part safely, we need the following information from you:
- Sex
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- Address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Medical and psychological background
- Use of alcohol, drugs and medication
- Your motivation for taking part
Your medical and psychological information is sensitive. We ask for it only to look after your safety, we only process it with your explicit permission, and only the people who need it to guide you safely can see it. If you choose not to give this information, we cannot offer you our services.
What we use your data for
- To provide and improve our services, and to answer your questions
- To support you when you are having a difficult time
- To keep you informed about our services and events by email, with your permission
- For security, and to prevent fraud or harm to participants
- To collect payments that are overdue, if that becomes necessary
If we want to use your data for anything else, we ask you first.
We use your data because you asked for our services (to carry out our agreement), because you gave permission (for sensitive information and email updates), because the law requires it, or because we have a legitimate interest, such as safety and collecting payments. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it in these situations:
- With a physician or other trusted parties who process data for us, under confidentiality and security agreements
- With a collection agency, if a payment remains overdue
- When the law requires it, or when it is necessary to deal with fraud or security problems, or to protect the safety of participants or others
- If Metsa Noma were to merge or be sold. We would protect your data and tell you about it first
What you share yourself in the Metsa Noma Tribe app can be seen by other members. We have no control over what they do with it.
We use a few services to do our work: statichost.eu hosts this website, Mighty Networks runs the Metsa Noma Tribe app, Google handles our email, and Plug&Pay processes payments. Some of these may process data outside the European Union. We only use services that offer the safeguards the GDPR requires. The only data we share with our team in Peru is your screening, which goes to Maestro Sany Meny so that he can guide you safely.
Photos and recordings
During recorded sessions and retreats we may make recordings or photos in which you can be seen. Our terms explain how we use them. You can withdraw your consent for future use of a recording at any time by emailing us.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires. Data linked to your member login stays until your account is removed or your membership is cancelled. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
You can always ask us to show, correct or delete your data, and to pass it on to you or someone else in a standard format. You can object to the use of your data for direct marketing, and you can withdraw your permission at any time. Email info@metsanoma.com. If you ask us to delete your data, we also inform the parties we shared it with.
How we protect your data
We treat your data with care. Only team members and contractors who need it for their work have access, and we use technical measures such as SSL encryption. We review our security regularly.
Complaints
Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? Email info@metsanoma.com and we will look into it. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may change this statement. If so, we let you know through the website or in another way. Last updated: November 2026.
