Behind the pathThe philosophy behind this path

Everyone walks a path.
This website had to feel like a welcome, and like a small initiation. You come in and you discover more and more along the way. It is also a wink at life itself, because that is a path we all walk, only to find our way back home.
You can look left and right as much as you like. The only way is forward.

Never look back, only forward.
Maestro Sany Meny says this, and so do the plants. People find themselves on El Camino de la Verdad, the path of truth. And our maestro always says: El camino no es fácil, pero nada imposible, pero depende de ti. The path is not easy, nothing is impossible, and it depends on you.
So it is always your own free will. Sacred Plants offer insights and invite you to work on your own healing process. The walking is yours.

A feeling you can walk into
A regular website can tell you about all this. I wanted to take you on an immersive experience, so you are invited through your eyes and through your ears. Sadly we cannot fit all the senses of being human in here, but we did get a big part of them.

The jaguar that became eyes
At the end of the path something looks at you. It took a while to find out what.
A black jaguar
He sat next to Noya Rao, breathed and looked around.
On four legs
He looked exactly like a dog.
Only his face
Drawn in thin lines, high in the trees. No.
Only his head
With light along the edges. Better, and still not it.
Our own logo
Then I looked at the top of the Metsa Noma™ logo and saw them. The eyes of Noya Rao.

You are seen.
They come out of the tree, straight towards you, and fly right through you. They look through all the layers, through the façades. They see your heart, your soul and what you came here to do. That is also how the plants work.
There is nothing negative in that. You are seen, and you are allowed to be here.

Absolutely not kumbaya.

Light and love, absolutely. And we live in a world of contrast, and it is in the contrast that we learn.
With this incarnation we were given an ego, a.k.a. a self-reflecting consciousness. It helps us experience the contrast, so that we can choose who and what we want to be in this life.

Why it keeps its soul
It has everything to do with embodiment.
What you feel on this path was first lived in a body, over many years in the jungle. AI can support that and help give it form. It cannot have lived it.
Bringing soul and business together used to be frowned upon, and yet support has always belonged to this sacred work. There is reciprocity in it and no greed. Medicine men and women give their whole lives to this work, and their tribe provides for them. Being supported does not take the soul out of the work.
Now AI joins in, as one more form of support. I am not a programmer. I came up with this world, chose every moment in it and kept saying “no, not yet” until it felt right. Claude, an AI from Anthropic, wrote the code and thought along.
This is also what I do as Daphne Metsa Noma™. I bring soul, business, creativity and AI together.

Things to look for
- The ground lights up where you walk.
- Mapacho, sacred tobacco and a master plant, along the path.
- Blue morphos around the maloka.
- Chullachaqui, the guardian, right of Noya Rao.
- Stand still for a while. The path notices.
